Unfortunately, it looks like Pouring Purim will take on a different meaning this year. The weather forecast has too much rain and wind this evening for us to safely continue with the event. Our wonderful venue, Moxy, has advised us against hosting an outdoor event at their venue and there is not an indoor option for us at this time.
No matter how great our DJ, hamantaschen, and costumes are, if the venue is unsafe, or just plain unwelcoming due to rain, we know it’s not a good party. Purim is about having fun and being together, not about hiding from the rain, or shivering from the wind.
We’ve made the difficult decision to cancel Pouring Purim this year. We had high hopes, but it looks like Haman got the better of us, BOOOO!
